Served!
My Dad didn't have a very good day yesterday. It started with a ring at the door at about 10am. It was the mailwoman with a registered letter for my Dad. My Dad sat down and started opening the envelope. My Dad's company was being served with a $40,000 lawsuit.

Well, not really. A company with the same name as my Dad's company (minus the "ltd.") was being sued. I guess when trying to determine the owner of the company they made the mistake of sending it to the the wrong company and owner. My Dad made a couple of phone calls to try and get the mess sorted out. As of today it still isn't sorted out. Apparently when you call people to tell them they're suing the wrong person they don't take your word for it.

Yesterday night, my Dad asked my sister to move her car, so she wouldn't get a ticket for parking on the curb. He told her to park in the driveway, infront of my Mom's car, which he would move since my Mom had to go to work early the next morning.

Pardeep got into her car and moved it and then saw my Mom's car leave the driveway. That's exactly what was supposed to happen, except my Mom's car kept moving back; it crossed the street and then went onto the diveway across ours. Then it hit their garage door.

Pardeep heard the BAM! when the car hit the neighbor's garage door. She quickly grabbed Ralphie, and ran into the house. She yelled "Pavan, Dad hit the neighbor's garage door !"

At this point Pavandeep was confused and then Pardeep looked up and saw my Dad walking down the stairs. She goes to my Dad "You just hit the neighbor's garage door, thusi undar kee karday aw?" She looked really confused.

Then my Dad quickly went outside to fetch the car.

What happened was, when my Dad started my Mom's car he saw that the gas was low, and decided to fill it for her. He came inside to get his wallet, but accidentally left the car in "reverse". It's strange that the car rolled back because our driveway slopes toward our house, not the other way around. The neighbor's garage door will need replacement, but the whole incident was pretty hilarious.

Did your Dad get in trouble from your mom?

haha, no. She was sleeping when it happened.

hahaha well you must have told her lol

hahahahahah you're right it is hilarious..

ah man.. hahahahah

I guess my Dad must've told her the next day. When I came home she knew. All I heard my Mom (proudly) say was that she had never left her car in reverse.
