The making of a display picture
The following is a step-by-step guide to making your own display picture. Firstly, one needs a sophisticated graphics program which goes by the name of "Paint". The other thing you need a Gurbani or Punjabi Font.
Step 1. Write out your name in your desired color. The font I use is "GurbaniWebThick", size 72 and in bold.

Step 2. "Select" the name in a box, and go to "Image" and choose "Stretch/Skew". Change the vertical setting to 20% (you could use any number, but 20 or 25 is what I use, depending on the length of the name).

Step 3. "Select" the image again, and this time drag the borders to increase the size.

Step 4. Define the margins of the image by adding lines horizontal and vertical to the image where needed.

Step 5. Fill in all the voids using the "Fill with Color" option. It helps to zoom into the image when doing this part. Change the siharees and/or biharees to Kirpans, and add blood if you so desire.

Step 6. You can add a background colour and/or illustrations. Whatever floats your boat.

That's it!
