Interesting conversation had with hindi movie fan...
If this does ever occur (highly unlikely), I will edit this post and provide details of said conversation.
(Just to clarify... the "highly unlikely" refers to the fact that (most) people who watch hindi movies on a regular basis have been sucked dry of any creativity they possessed making them incapable of saying something interesting or thought provoking. They are devoid of any knowledge of current events, and believe the stereotypes protrayed by these movies to be true. I'm not positive about which came first... the hindi movies or the lack of thought... but I firmly believe they are related.)

Yes the bollywood world! Love those Hindi flicks. Okay i would agree that most hindi movies need to challenge their viewers. But every once and awhile something wonderful happens. Consider the movie Sholay from 1975. All time best movie in any language ever. This movie has one of the actors falling in love with a widowed women. An idea that was absured not even in 1975 but even today in India. Only the tuned in viewer could take the directors message of social change. So in some cases it is true that the Hindi movie viewer can be left with evolving ideas that require thought. Apparently when the movie first came out it was a flop. Now they've built a theatre in Mumbai that shows only this movie, every day, once a day. I think the movie is amazing. But when you watchit don't forget to view it in the proper cultural and historical context.

Rob, that is so sad...
another example of how India blatantly and recklessly allows for the torture of her citizens.

Michelangelo's David when first made was left on the stairs of city hall in Florence, Italy. It wasn't until people realized that it was a masterpiece that ought to transcend the ages did they place it inside for everyone to enjoy. The theatre built in mumbai is the vechile from which we can appreciate masterpieces in indian cinema such as the movie sholay.
